Advancing Communities Right to Health and Clean Environment


Human Rights Agenda[HURIA] with support from Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir Foundation and the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union today held a Free Medical Camp in Kikaangoni,in Jomvu Constituency. The Camp is a series of activities organized by HURIA in response to the resident's outcry over alleged increased cases of respiratory diseases due to inhalation of clinker dust stored closer to their homesteads.
HURIA is currently documenting complaints against companies impacting on communities' health and environment.
