UN-MASKING the Environmental Injustices at Rabai Kaliya Ng'ombe
Yesterday Human Rights Agenda[HURIA] made another Community Consultative Meeting at Boyani - Rabai, more that we established was, there had been lack of Public Participation by design either willfully or negligently being occasioned by the E.I.A experts before The Third Engineering Bureau of China City Quarry was cleared for Licensing by National Environment Management Authority - Kenya . We inter alia found out ... that the said Third Engineering Bureau of China City had contravened Noise, water quality and waste management regulations stipulated under Environmental Management and Coordination Act, 1999. As an organization, we have made it our agenda to bring into account all persons, agents, servants of China City and by extension NEMA who are likely seem to have either willfully colluded with the proponent to violate the right to clean and healthy environment which is enshrined in the Constitution of Kenya 2010 and other related Environmental Act of Parliament
